Chocolate Mint Figs

Yield: 48 halves

Ingredients:

1/2 c semisweet chocolate chips
4 tb fresh mint, finely chopped
48 almonds, toasted and coarsely chopped
24 fresh figs, halved

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a small mixing bowl, combine the chips, mint, and almonds, stirring well. Press a bit of this mixture into each fig half. Lightly spray or wipe a baking sheet with vegetable oil. Place the figs on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature. to serve put the fig in a glass about 3 icing sugar on top.
